1. Information We Collect
- Identity data: full name, phone number, email address.
- Shipping data: delivery address, PIN code.
- Order data: items purchased, order value, invoice history.
- Payment data: handled entirely by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateway (PhonePe). We do NOT store card numbers, UPI PINs, CVVs or bank credentials on Kuvera servers.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, cookies, pages visited (via analytics providers).
- Communications: emails, WhatsApp messages, chats you initiate with our customer care.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To fulfil and deliver your orders (share address with courier partner, generate GST invoice).
- To send transactional communications: order confirmation, dispatch notification, delivery updates, invoice.
- To provide customer support and process returns / exchanges.
- To send marketing communications only if you opt-in (newsletter subscribe, WhatsApp updates).
- To detect fraud, prevent chargebacks and secure our systems.
- To comply with Indian tax and legal obligations (GSTIN, RBI reporting where applicable).
3. Sharing of Data
- Courier partners — only the fields required to deliver (name, address, phone).
- Payment gateway (PhonePe) — handled at their end; we receive only success/failure status and a transaction ID.
- Government authorities — when legally compelled (tax notices, court orders, law enforcement requests).
- We do NOT sell or rent your personal data to any third party. Ever.
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies (login, cart, wishlist) and analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, PostHog) to understand site usage. You may block non-essential cookies via your browser settings without breaking core shopping features.
5. Data Retention
Order and invoice data is retained for a minimum of 8 years to comply with the GST Act and Indian tax law. Marketing preferences are honoured immediately upon opt-out. Account data is retained until you request deletion.
6. Your Rights
- Right to access a copy of your personal data.
- Right to correct inaccurate data.
- Right to withdraw marketing consent at any time.
- Right to delete your account (order/invoice records are retained for statutory tax duration only).

7. Security
Kuvera uses HTTPS/TLS encryption, hashed & salted password storage, role-based access controls and encrypted MongoDB storage. Payment transactions occur exclusively on PhonePe's PCI-DSS Level-1 certified infrastructure.
8. Children
Our services are not directed at children below 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a minor without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised 'Last Updated' date and, where reasonable, notified via email.
